Video or photo from electrical panel to where you would like charger installed.

This is so we can estimate how many feet of wire will be needed and whether or not we have to go through walls, concrete, etc. If the video file is too large, you can just email it over to our office.

Surge protection is required in new electrical panels but most panels installed before 2023 do not have them. Surge protection is recommended but not included in our estimates unless requested. Would you like surge protection included in your estimate? ^*

A permit will be required for this project.  The cost of the permit will be included in your estimate. Someone will need to provide the electrical inspector access.  This will likely not be on the same day as your installation.  If this is problematic, we can discuss alternatives. ^*

Tesla Wall Connectors and other EV power supplies require wifi for commissioning.  If you do not have strong wifi at the installation location, we may not be able to fully commission your system.  If you need to expand your wifi, this is something that we can help out with it if you would like. ^*

Charging an EV can have significant power demands.  For most of our installations, the electrical service has enough power available and no further upgrades are needed.  However, sometimes the panel or service size is inadequate.  When existing power is inadequate the size of the EV circuit may need to be downsized or a larger panel or electrical service may need to be installed.  It is not possible to determine this without load calculations, which are not part of our free estimates.  We are happy to perform load calculations to make this determination prior to an estimate being accepted for a a $50 fee.  Because the load calculations are needed for a permit, if the project is completed, we will apply a $50 credit to cover the cost of load calculations. ^*
