The City of Peekskill is preparing a new Comprehensive Plan, a long-range roadmap that will guide decisions about housing, land use, transportation, economic development, sustainability, public space, and public investment over the next 25 years. The resulting plan will be shaped by community input and will help establish a shared vision for Peekskill's future.
This survey is intentionally open-ended. Rather than asking you to choose from a list of predetermined answers, we want to hear directly from you about what makes Peekskill special, what challenges need to be addressed, and what you would like the city to become. Your responses will help identify community priorities and themes that will inform future public workshops, community discussions, and the recommendations that ultimately appear in The Peekskill Plan.
This survey is just one way to participate. Throughout the planning process, there will be additional opportunities to share ideas and discuss priorities through community meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities. If you attend an event and complete the survey, that's even better. Together, these conversations will help create a plan that reflects the voices of the Peekskill community.
