Are you planning on caring for your garden, or will you need a gardener? And are you open to paying a bit higher wages for the people who build and maintain your landscape? ^*

I value ongoing care as much as design work. Landscapes grow and change over time. My gardens require less intensive and different care than typical gardens. Because it's a bit different, I like to plan for care, and to involve a gardener early in the process.
