Early applications are strongly encouraged as spaces are limited. Participants will be selected based on their suitability for each communal retreat, application answers and availability of places. Please answer the questions as honestly as possible to ensure our offerings will be suited to your world views and dreams for the collective and that this will be an aligned energy exchange with Zami’s values.

We prioritise BIPOC applicants but will consider participants from different backgrounds and encourage you to apply. Zami retreats and residencies are designed to be redistributive within the communities we are hosted in and encourage meaningful interactions and economic exchange with local communities in Lamu Island, Ethiopia and Nandi Hills.
