MODs are expected to actively contribute to a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all players. As representatives of the server, MODs must conduct themselves with maturity, respect, and professionalism at all times, both in-game and on any server-related platforms. This includes being approachable, fair, and helpful, resolving conflicts calmly, and enforcing rules consistently without favoritism or hostility. MODs must refrain from making or endorsing any form of inappropriate, discriminatory, or harmful remarks. This includes satirical or “joking” comments, homophobic or transphobic language, sexist or racist remarks, or any statements that target or demean individuals based on their sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, sex, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or background. Harassment, bullying, mockery, or so-called “dark humor” that could make others feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or excluded is not acceptable, regardless of intent. MODs are expected to lead by example and understand that intent does not outweigh impact. Personal beliefs or opinions must never interfere with fair moderation, and abuse of power or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated. If there is any uncertainty about whether a comment or action is appropriate, MODs are expected to refrain and choose the respectful option. Failure to uphold these expectations may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the MOD team.
