1. Code of Conduct
1.1 Respect and Politeness
All attendees must treat all staff and other convention attendees with utmost respect and politeness. This includes using appropriate language, listening when others are speaking, and respecting personal space and boundaries.
1.2 Behavioural Expectations
Participants are expected to refrain from asking invasive or overly personal questions, and will not pressure anyone into sharing more than they are comfortable with. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, physical harassment, unwanted advances, and discriminatory remarks based on race, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
1.3 Compliance with Instructions
Participants must follow the instructions and guidance provided by management. This is for the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
2.1 Definition of Harassment
Harassment includes any unwanted behaviour that makes another person feel uncomfortable, threatened, or demeaned. This can be verbal, physical, or emotional in nature.
2.2 Reporting Harassment
If you experience or witness any form of harassment, please report it immediately to a member of staff. We take such reports seriously and will act promptly.
2.3 Consequences of Harassment
Any attendee found to be harassing others will be asked to leave the event and the convention premises immediately. There will be no warnings for such behaviour.
3. Non-Dating Policy
3.1 Friend Maker Purpose
This activity is expressly designed for the purpose of creating platonic connections. Any solicitation or pursuit of romantic or dating relationships is strictly prohibited. Participants are expected to focus solely on building platonic connections and engaging in friendly, casual conversations.
4. Security and Safety
4.1 Role of Security Personnel
Security personnel are present to ensure the safety of all attendees. They have the authority to intervene in situations where safety or security is compromised.
4.2 Cooperation with Security
Attendees must cooperate with security personnel and comply with their instructions. Failure to do so may result in being escorted out of the convention.
4.3 Immediate Ejection
If a participants behaviour is deemed harmful or disruptive, security personnel have the right to ask that attendee to leave the convention immediately.
5. Responsibility Disclaimer
5.1 The Fanatics Group is not responsible for any arrangements or interactions between participants.
5.2 Participants engaging in any activities or meet-ups outside of the booked slot do so at their own discretion and risk.
5.3 The Fanatics Group holds no liability for any outcomes resulting from such interactions.
