1. Agreement & Acceptance
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all policies listed below. Once payment is received, this form is a binding agreement between you and Honey Bee Cakes.
2.Pickup Time & Late Policy
Pickup is in Erlton, Calgary SW near Stampede Park. Delivery is not available.
Pickup windows:
Mon-Fri between 11am–1pm and 4–6pm
Sat-Sun between 10am-1pm
Please plan your pickup in advance! I cannot guarantee availability outside of scheduled pickup times. Orders not picked up within the agreed window may not be accommodated.
3.Deposit & Cancellations
*If your party is at a venue, make sure to confirm if they accept cakes from a home-bakery. I do not work out of an AHS kitchen.
Please note that pricing is firm and final; discounts are not offered.
A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours to reserve your date, otherwise your spot may be given to someone else. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
Changes or rescheduling to your order must be made at least 3 days in advance. In case of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable within 48 hours of pickup.
If a cake is not picked up on the original scheduled date, it is kept for maximum 2 days, then discarded.
Deposit refunds are only considered in rare and exceptional circumstances. Change of plans does not qualify.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfill your order due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, a full refund of all payments made will be issued. If possible, I will provide as much notice as I can and may offer a rescheduled date.
4.Allergies & Dietary Info
All products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common allergens including eggs, dairy, gluten, nuts, honey, berries, cinnamon, and more. While care is taken, cross-contact may occur. My products are not intended for individuals with severe allergies.
5.Cake Sizes, Flavors & Servings
It is your responsibility to review flavor descriptions, cake sizes, and serving suggestions prior to ordering. Refunds will not be issued for misunderstandings regarding size or flavor after pickup.
6. Cake Handling & Storage
Cakes should be refrigerated and removed 1–2 hours before serving for best quality. Buttercream is hard when cold, please bring the cake to room temperature before serving!
It is the customer’s responsibility to transport and store the cake correctly (keep flat, refrigerated, and away from heat or direct sunlight).
Refunds will not be issued for any damage occurring after pickup, including dropping, tilting, melting, or improper storage.
7.Quality Guarantee
I am a food-safety certified baker operating under a valid City of Calgary home-based business license. All cakes are made fresh using sanitized tools and food-safe practices and are provided in perfect condition at the time of pickup.
If there is a fundamental issue with your order (e.g. incorrect flavor or physical contaminant), please contact me immediately. Refunds may only be issued in these rare cases.
