WHERE ARE YOUR MARKETS
Folk Cafe aka Folk Suffolk just outside of Bury St Edmunds

HOW MUCH IS A PITCH
It depends on a few things, but 90% of our pitches are priced at £45 booking fee. Hot Food Vendors are charged £65.

WHAT'S FOOTFALL LIKE
Typically, we have between 600-1200 visitors at our markets.

HOW MANY TRADERS WILL THERE BE?
We can fit 30 traders at our markets - half inside, half outside

WILL THERE BE ANOTHER TRADER SELLING PRODUCTS LIKE MINE?
No, we carefully curate each event to ensure there is little to no cross-over to ensure your day is as profitable as can be.

VENUE DETAILS?
Folk has two big, free car parks. It is an accessible venue. It is a dog friendly venue.

MARKET VIBE?
Happy, smiley, creative and chill. No bad vibes, please!

HOW CAN I BOOK
We'll be in touch with you if we want to invite you to join us for one of our future dates. To then secure your booking, you'll need to pay the fee, return your booking form and provide proof of public liability insurance before the stated deadline.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS ETC
If you cancel your booking 30 or more days before the event, we will refund you the full booking fee.

In the event of bad weather, we will review the forecast in the days leading up to the event. If it is deemed safe to do so by us, and the Folk Management, the event will go ahead and refunds for bad weather will not be given.

If you are booked to trade outside and the weather is exceptionally bad, we will review on a case by case basis how to proceed. We may offer you a smaller spot inside, a discount on a future pitch, or a partial refund.

DO I NEED INSURANCE?
Yes, all traders require Public Liability Insurance to trade at public events. If you don't have proof of valid insurance being in place for the event date, we may have to cancel your booking.

CAN I BRING A HELPER?
Yes, but only one, please. We have limited room for more than two people behind each stall, and it can unfairly cramp your stall-neighbour if you have more than one helper. It can also look unwelcoming to shoppers.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Yes! Please feel free to bring your dog if they are well behaved and used to being in crowded market spaces. Just let us know and we'll ensure you have room for them at your pitch.

DO I NEED A CARD MACHINE?
Yes! Folk is a cashless venue Mon-Sat, so people are used to paying by card only there. It's up to you if you also wish to take cash, but you will need the ability to take mobile/card payments to trade with us.

Indoor - a single standard table works for me

Indoor - a single standard table but with a tiny bit of extra room (rail/print rack etc.)

Indoor - I need quite a bit more space than a standard table allows

Outdoor - standard 3mx3m gazebo

Outdoor - petite 2mx2m gazebo

Outdoor - I need more room than a 3mx3m pitch allows for

Indoor - half a single standard table size works for me
