Don't worry. Your email won't be used for marketing or whatever. I only need this to send the beta version once it's ready.

Pricing

Data sync is hard, and requires ton of effort both to build and to maintain. Almost all of the productivity apps with cloud sync charge a subscription: Obsidian, Fantastical, Habitify, Paste, Todoist, Session...

Because it's freaking hard and it incurs recurring expenses.

The one-time pricing model isn't sustainable in this case.

However, there are 2 approaches to this. Let me know which one you prefer (see next page)

1. You manage your data

This is the simplest way to do it. Currently, BoltAI stores all your data in a local folder on your Mac

- A SQLite database (contains your chats, services & models configurations, AI commands/assistants/prompts...)
- Other media files: generated images, speech files, app icons, screenshots...

Instead of storing it on the local folder, you can choose to store the data on your private cloud: iCloud, Dropbox, Googel Drive or One Drive...

With this, I don't need to manage your data and we can keep using the perpertual licensing model. I expect there will be more support queries but I guess it's managable.

The downside is it could affect performance and you will need to handle the conflicts yourself. Also this won't work if you want to sync with your iOS devices.

2. Cloud Sync as a separated add-on

You pay a subscription for data sync as a separated add-on. You can choose to unsubscribe anytime (your data might be deleted after a period of time)

NOTE: If you choose "Manage my own data", iOS sync is not possible.

Price for the add-on

Now the price will depend on how large your data is. Imagine you have 1GB cloud storage included, help me find the optimal price for this.

At what price would you consider it to be priced so low that you feel that the quality can’t be very good? (Too Cheap)^*

That's all. You will be the first to test the Cloud Sync feature.
