What’s the size limit on a to-go drink in Savannah’s Historic District?
Savannah’s Historic District packs 22 leafy squares, cobblestone corners, and plenty of bars into one walkable grid. It’s also one of the few places in the US where you can stroll with a drink in hand — as long as you follow the rules.

You know your Savannah sips.
The limit is 16 ounces, and your drink has to be in an open plastic cup, so leave the glass and cans behind.
The to-go zone covers the Historic District between River Street and Jones Street, and it’s for adults 21 and older.
