We are looking for a detail-oriented Finisher & Packing Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final, most rewarding steps of our furniture-building process: bringing the wood's natural beauty to life and ensuring it is safely packaged for its new home.

What You Will Do:

• Precision Sanding: Operate the wide-belt sanding machine and use orbital hand sanders to create flawlessly smooth tabletops and furniture surfaces.

• Detail Work: Inspect pieces and carefully apply wood filler to correct any natural imperfections in the wood.

• Finishing: Apply our signature hardwax oil finishes by hand to protect the wood and highlight the stunning natural grain.

• Careful Packing: Work with the team to securely pack finished furniture—especially large tabletops—ensuring they arrive safely to our customers.

What We Are Looking For:

• An Eye for Detail: You care about quality and have the patience to ensure every surface is perfectly smooth and beautifully finished.

• Willingness to Learn: Previous experience with sanding, finishing, or operating a wide-belt sander is a huge plus, but we are highly willing to train the right hardworking candidate!

• Heavy Lifting (Crucial Requirement): Solid hardwood is heavy! Because you will be handling and packing large solid oak and walnut tabletops, you must have the physical strength to safely lift up to 100 lbs.
