I/We fully understand and acknowledge that:
While Jodo, Kendo, Iaido and related activities are some of the safest martial arts presently practiced, as with any athletic endeavor or sport, there is the risk of injury. Further, while the Instructors and Seniors providing guidance will always endeavor to provide the safest instruction possible, there is always the possibility of misunderstandings and miscommunication that could result in injury. It is highly recommended that you consult with your physician prior to initiating practice to ensure that you are healthy enough to participate in the activity.
Further, I hereby agree to abide by the commands and instructions of the Instructors, officials, Officers, and Staff, and I understand that their decisions regarding all issues
involved in the practice of the martial arts and associated activities are final and binding on me.
I also understand that here may be other risks not known nor reasonably forseeable at this time, and I undertake the practice Kendo, Iaido and related activities with this clear understanding.
By signing this form, I am representing I am a member of good standing with the All United States Kendo Federation, my regional federation, and my Dojo.
